2025 Turlock Swap Meet

2025 TURLOCK SWAP MEET WITH SEVERAL CLUB'S MEMBERS.

January 25th 26th and 27th 2025 - Freezing weather but good time along friends

The East Coast has its infamous swap meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania… and the West Coast has Turlock!
Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, Turlock is a city in Stanislaus County, about 12 miles south of Modesto. Two major events transform this small town into a bustling hub. The first is the Stanislaus County Fair – probably a nice event, but honestly we actually don’t care about that one. The other major event is the Turlock Swap Meet, organized by the Model A Ford Club of America, and that’s the one we’re here to talk about. Since 1966, the Turlock Swap Meet has become one of, if not the biggest auto swap meets on the West Coast. What began as a small gathering has since exploded! With more than 900 vendors using every available inch of the fairgrounds over the 2,067 spaces, and 15,000 visitors, the Turlock Swap Meet has become a major event in the world of classic, kustom, hot-rodding, and muscle cars.
The Swap Meet is big – really big! Hundreds and hundreds of sellers! This is the Mecca of antique automobile business on the West Coast: car parts by the millions, antique porcelain signs, gas pumps, literature, bikes, toys, tools, cars – anything and everything motoring-related! If you’re looking for something, there’s a good chance you’ll find it there, or at least get a contact. But here’s what I learned: you can’t do both – be a vendor and try to hunt for parts. It’s one or the other. It would have take all day long to check every aisle, so if you’re hunting, don’t sell, and if you’re selling, don’t hunt. You just can’t do both. No I did not find any factory A/C parts, I just didn’t have the time to look! So, is it worth going there? If you have never been, definitely yes, it’s something to experience, if you’re looking for parts, big chance you may find it there, but the real fun is to go with a bunch of friends, and that was worth!
