Up the mountains and up the lift.
Saturday March 16th was the “Kicking Tire at the Warner Ranch reunion, and it was a great success! Many members made the drive all the way up to Karon & Grant’s home, some with their daily driver, some with their Oldsmobile.
Up the mountain at the Ranch, the weather was a bit cooler, but the welcome was really warm. Grant and Karon welcomed us all, 40 members, with hot coffee and donuts. Grant opened up his shop where all the guys gather together to check the underskirts of our beloved Oldsmobiles.
Then noon came and we all converged to Grant & Karon’s home where a very enjoyable buffet was waiting for us. The afternoon activities resume for another set of inspections, starting with Jeff’s 1991-1992 Custom Cruise. The last car to get on the lift, was Kim’s 1957 98 and around 5 pm, the inspections were done. Verdict of all those check-ups, nothing drama was found on any cars, in a word, we are all good to take the trip to Pismo Beach!
