On May 18th the Janet Goeske Foundation is celebrating their 30th Anniversary from 12-5 and the theme is ” A Blast for from the Past-Vintage Carnival Extravaganza”. To add to our celebration we are looking for classic car groups to display their cars during our celebration. I would appreciate hearing from you soon in hopes to have your group present during this event or if you have other groups you could share this info with to display your cars during this event. Our members are invited to attend the 39th Annual Vette Set Car Show in Redondo Beach, CA This event is open to all years GM cars and trucks.

Oldsmobile Club of Southern California member, Dave Munyon’s 1950 Oldsmobile was selected by the Rose Parade to transport “The Voice of Dodger Baseball” and Rose Parade Grand Marshall Vin Scully in the 2014 parade. Tune in to the parade on New Year’s morning and look for Dave’s car.

Congratulations to Keith Berg. He was honored with for his years of Dedication, Support, Knowledge and his Representation of the 50’s class of cars both on the street and the race track. He set records that stand today. He is always willing to help a fellow member with his or her 50’s project. His car is a beautiful representation of the 50’s era of our beloved cars. He and his wife are the original owners of his beautiful red car. The Lifetime Achievement Award comes with a Lifetime Membership to our club. Keith, we thank you for all you have meant to Oldsmobile history and done for our club.
The San Diego Automotive Museum in Balboa Park is looking for a 1964 to 1972 Olds
442, W30, W31 or H/O for an upcoming exhibit ” Muscle Cars – 50 years of American
Horsepower” . The exhibit runs from Feb. 8 to May 31, 2014. The vehicles will be housed
inside the museum and will be limited to 12 cars from GM. Ford, and Mopar. Your Olds
does not have to be concourse or frame off restoration quality but it should be clean with
good paint and straight body. If you are interested in displaying your car please contact
